Athletic Content Creation Assistant

Summary of Job Duties:

As part of the digital media team, the Athletic Content Creation Assistant will work during Arkansas athletics events across multiple sports to help provide coverage and content on our social media channels and work in office during the week to compile analytics reports, plan and create content, and track fan messages and mentions. The content creation assistant will be the main content creator for our Track & Field social media accounts, with responsibility over all content planning, creation and scheduling for the Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others. Team travel will be part of this role.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, film, or related area of study

Previous experience in social media, videography, photography, digital marketing, or athletics communications

Knowledge to shoot and edit video and/or photos

Some part time experience working in social media

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working or interning with a collegiate or professional sports team

Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom and Adobe After Effects

Salary Information:

$15.00 per hour
