Internship - Sanctuary Facilities

Sanctuary Facilities Interns (FYA: Animal Care Center Operations Interns) will assist the Facilities Department with the daily maintenance of the sanctuary. The facilities internship primarily involves land management responsibilities, but also incorporates maintenance tasks as well. Duties include landscaping, irrigation, enclosure building and modification, and vehicle maintenance.

Internship time commitment is approximately 40 hours per week for 12 weeks. Please note our location (Murchison, Texas) and any travel arrangements you may need to make before applying as an intern.

These internships are paid a $200 monthly stipend; however, free housing may be available and course credit can be arranged. Interns must pass a criminal background check and sign a waiver and release of liability.
