Indy AfterSchool Corps Summer Enrichment Coordinator

Job Description:
Indy AfterSchool Corps Summer Enrichment Coordinators will provide direct support services to youth ages 5-18 in areas of high poverty in the Indianapolis community during the summer break. Members develop and implement academic success and enrichment activities. This position serves youth mainly during summer programming. Training will take place the first 2 weeks & last 2 weeks of the service term (about 20-25 hours per week). Members will serve about 40 hours per week during the middle 6 weeks of their term (youth programming dates). Members serve hours mainly Monday-Friday.

Qualifications:
Must be a U.S. citizen, national or lawful permanent resident; commit to fulfilling a contracted term of service; verify eligibility to serve through an FBI background check and national sex offender check; possess an ethic of service and a strong interest in empowering youth.
