Summer/Fall Program, Sales and Marketing Internship

Alder's mission is to provide the very best in total life safety, which includes keeping homes safe from burglary, fire, carbon monoxide, medical, and flood emergencies. We also provide home automation features.

Roles & Opportunities:
*You will need to be able to operate a smartphone and tablet and become familiar with our software programs and tools.
*You will be required to complete our online training course and participate in our daily in person training.
*Each day you will need to communicate with potential customers and be able to explain to them the benefits and functions of our new system and its components
*You will be expected to learn the process of sales and how to effectively communicate.
*Reporting will be a daily task which will be done in person with other team members
*You will be asked to work 2-4 months, 5-6 days per week, Monday-Saturday. This is an entry level position and if done well you can be offered full time employment during the internship.
*You are required to be open to moving for the 2-4 month period.
 Location:
*Most of the time we find it best for you and the company to relocate to a different state during the 2-4 month program. This will be discussed with the hiring manager during the first interview.
*Due to COVID-19 and many school programs being online during the summer and fall semesters we will be flexible if students have online classes in the morning but can dedicate time in the day and evening. This will be discussed during the first interview.
*Positions may be available now, as well as for the fall/winter semesters. Please be prepared to discuss your current situation in the interview.
Income:
*Pay is based on production and is paid weekly. Average monthly income is $4000 but can be higher based on performance. Other incentives are paid out such as company paid vacations, dinner money, prizes, rent bonuses, scholarships, and car allowances.
*Full time managers earn six figure salaries as base, which can be obtained within 1-3 years of experience.

A second interview will be scheduled if both you and the hiring manager believe the position to be a good fit. After the second interview you will be notified if the position will be offered.
