Software Development Engineer Intern

What you need for success: 
  • Enrollment in an accredited collegiate program 
  • Maintains a 3.0 GPA or above 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Relevant Experience 
  • Ability to work without sponsorship now or in the future 

Who You’ll Work With 
  • In the Power Device Integration Group, you’ll be working with a team of experts to solve problems with immediate impact to the company. In this position, you’ll be utilizing software skills to develop advanced testing methodologies to deliver enhanced control to our process line, and to sustain that control over time. A few specific skills that you’ll be able to deploy:
  • ·       Python software development – you should have experience with Python and some projects completed in the software, either in school, or in your own hobbies. You should feel comfortable exploring within the language to successfully complete the internship project.
  • ·       Deep Convolutional Neural Networks – you should have some experience here, either through a course project or also through your own interests. In this position, you will develop and deploy production grade code for DNNs. This includes the “dirty work” that all DNN practitioners don’t particularly like to talk about – the care and feeding of datasets.
  • ·       Image processing – you should be comfortable with CV2 and Numpy for manipulation of images. Image processing courses and knowledge of traditional computer vision techniques are a plus.
  • ·       All of these skills will be used to complete a project over the course of your internship
