Software Engineer – Zeppelin Systems USA, Inc. a global supplier of automated bulk handling and mixing systems has an opening for a software engineer in the Tampa, Florida area. Minimum requirements are a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other 4 year software design / computer programming related degree and 3-7 years’ experience with , VB6, VBA, C# ASP.NET, MVC Java other script languages. Microsoft Certification MCTS SQL Server Implementation and Maintenance, Database Development or above is required with 90 days of employment. Good oral and written communication skills and the ability to travel within NAFTA region to work with our clients are also required. Experience related to industrial automation software, SCADA systems, industry standards such as OPC-UH and familiarity with automation vendor’s software (Rockwell, GE, Invensys etc.), programmable automation controllers and industrial networking is a plus.

Engineers also work to help program and configure Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition / Human Machine Interface software for animated process equipment graphics and alarms.
