United Shore Professional Baseball League - Marketing and Community Relations Internship [PART-TIME]

An internship with the USPBL offers students real-life work opportunities that are critical to gaining the experience necessary to be successful in the sports and entertainment business environment. Our front office staff is comprised of executives who have spent years working for various Major League teams, so this is a terrific opportunity for a substantive learning experience.
College course credit may be earned if applicable.


Marketing and Community Relations Department

Location: The position is based out of the league office in downtown Rochester, MI
Timing: Winter/Spring semester, ideally beginning in January 2021. Start/end dates are flexible.

Responsibilities and opportunities include assisting with...
  • the USPBL's main outreach initiative, the USPBL Reading Program; communications, planning, fulfillment, content creation, and social media.
  • social media planning and projects to make sure the program and its sponsor are promoted across the USPBL's social media channels
  • classroom Zoom mascot appearances: helping with student engagement, documenting appearances for social media, sponsorship and record keeping.
  • planning strategic communication initiatives to increase ticket redemption from the program.
  • content creation for the 2021 USPBL Kids' Club and ways to promote the club on social media
  • fulfillment of the 2021 USPBL Kids Club
  • league charitable donation requests

Requirements:
All interns must be enrolled in college.
All internships are unpaid at this time.
Interns must provide their own phones and laptops.
