WPSD LOCAL6, the NBC affiliate in the 84th market needs a newsroom leader and innovator to contribute excellent strong journalism and help manage our current digital platforms. You need to be so plugged in to the digital news world that you’re eager to find and be a first adopter of that next great thing.

We’re in the OTT world and looking for you to grow it. You’ll work on our website, mobile APPs and social media platforms. We stream a lot!

You’ll work closely with producers, reporters and anchors. You have great ideas about growing audience and engagement.   You intuitively understand the interconnectedness of all the content we produce. You know how to gather, write and produce news and get it delivered in the format unique to each platform.  

You will help our audiences get their day off to a great start, updating all content and publishing a daily email blast news update too.

 

While you have boundless energy and a new idea every 15 seconds, at the same time you are a calm, caring, patient and kind newsroom teacher. You speak plain English not coder jargon. You take your role as a journalist and leader very seriously.
