Security Awareness Game Development Summer Intern

About the Role
The Security Awareness Game Development Intern is charged with assisting the Security Awareness Manager to develop CrowdStrike’s future vision of engaging educational content by developing a prototype interactive experience in support of the CrowdStrike Security and Compliance team. 
 
The ideal candidate will be up to the challenge of understanding CrowdStrikes needs, leveraging current game development and associated technologies and be continuously on the lookout for innovative and flexible ways to automate processes that support a fast-paced, secure, empowered AND FUN work environment.  
 
This role will help transform the security awareness experience in the context of security, privacy and other enterprise-wide operational areas. For this project, you will:
·      Collaborate with the Security Awareness Manager to Understand who at CrowdStrike does what,
·      Create a small chunk of a futuristic CrowdStrike world using off the shelf game engines and assets,
·      Coordinate with the CrowdStrike creative team to hone a consistent look and feel,
·      Launch your creation to a beta user group and gain their valuable feedback, and
·      Launch to the general CrowdStrike population and earn critical acclaim!
 
What You’ll Need 
·      Practical experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript;
·      Practical experience in JavaScript gaming engines such as PlayCanvas or Babylon.js;
·      Practical experience working with 3d model assets for use in games;
·      Experience in typical office applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.;
·      Fundamental understanding of key technologies such as Windows, Linux, and Apple operating systems, networks, application development tools; and
 
Bonus Points
·      Experience in Python, Pandas, Matplotlib, git, and other development tools and workflows.
·      Experience in music and video production.
·      Project management experience in scoping, work break-down, critical path analysis, resourcing, managing time estimates, project risks, and quality.
·      Open to learning and working on new domains and technology.
