Flat Rock River YMCA Overnight Camp Counselor

Do something amazing this summer and learn lifelong skills of management and leadership.

As an overnight cabin counselor you will work alongside a co-counselor to lead a cabin group of 10-12 campers through their week. Cabin counselors lead camp activities (archery, kayaking, swimming- all training provided) while guiding campers to build strong friendships and to challenge their personal growth. Counselors orchestrate the memorable moments that make the camp experience so powerful.

We will have a whole leadership team supporting you up with the tools necessary to be successful in creating a phenomenal summer camp experience for the campers in your care. You are the front line in implementing an environment that strives to make sure all campers are included as an individual and engaged in the camp experience. You are instrumental in helping them grow in their confidence. You will inspire campers to make this world a better place because they saw it and experienced it at camp.

Summer Camp dates are May 28- July 31.
