Camp Manito-wish YMCA is seeking dedicated nurses to oversee
on-site health management, assist in responding to medical related
phone calls from wilderness trips in a fast-paced, youth- focused
resident camp setting. We work collaboratively, celebrate successes
and support the physical and emotional needs of our campers and
staff. Health Center Staff includes a Health Center Assistant and 2-3
Nurses at all times. EMT's and LPN's will be considered based on RN coverage.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 21 years old
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Certification Standard First Aid and CPR/AED
- Current Wisconsin RN license or proof of Wisconsin nursing license endorsement
- Desire and proven ability to work with youth in building confidence and self-esteem
- Ability to work collaboratively with other nursing staff, operations and health center assistant to meet deadlines
- Good character, integrity, adaptability and effective communicator
- Enthusiasm, sense of humor, patience, and self-control

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with participants as related to age and skill level
- Visual and auditory ability to identify and respond to environmental and other hazards related to the program.
- Physical ability to respond appropriately to situations requiring first aid, fire, evacuation and illness.
- Must be able to relate effectively to diverse groups of people.

Full summer
- May 15-August 13
Partial Summer
- June 3- July 4
- July 4- July 18
- July 17-August 11
Willing to shorten employment dates on case
by case basis
