Environmental Manager

As the Environmental Manager, you will:
 
    * Possess in-depth technical mastery of Environmental systems and work processes and will grow capability in other HS&E areas while in the role
    * Gain a deeper understanding of Environmental systems across all disciplines and how they fit with other areas of the business
    * Utilize your strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills to influence plant, Business Unit, and corporate leadership and direction, and lead work successfully with internal and external resources
    * Have the ability to energize Manufacturing and Business Unit resources
 
Key areas of responsibilities will include:
    * Leading site environmental and sustainability priority development and alignment with internal and external business partners
    * Developing HS&E team and Operations environmental skills and capability, and enabling application of that capability throughout the site
    * Building and implementing focused action plans with emphasis on environmental performance, legal and regulatory compliance, and site sustainability objectives
    * Crafting operations management systems to strengthen environmental control reliability and performance.
    * Evaluating capital projects for environmental and sustainability effects, and participating in project design and delivery for improved results
    * Leading external environmental agency relations, including permitting, legal and regulatory interpretation, and external support of developing regulations
    * Leading specific environmental and sustainability technology areas (Air Quality, Water Quality, etc.)

Education:
 
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Environmental Engineering, Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar degrees (or other related degree and/or work-related experience).
 
Skills and Qualifications:
 
    * 2+ years of fulltime experience in an Health & Safety or Environment role either within a manufacturing site or in a corporate environment.
