Spring/Summer Qualitative Data Analyst
A 10-20 hour per week research assistant is needed for help with qualitative data analysis with Drs. Margie Skeer, Ndidiamaka Amutah-Onukagha, and Sasha Fleary. This position will start immediately and continue through the academic year. We collected qualitative data from 42 parents/guardians and their high-school aged child on their perceptions of the change in policy related to recreational marijuana in Massachusetts. This position will involve working directly with Drs. Skeer and Amutah-Onukagha.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:
· Work with the team to analyze qualitative data, including use of thematic content analysis
· Develop and refine coding scheme
· Generate reports, charts, tables, and create presentations
· Contribute to writing manuscripts after completing analysis
· Contribute to publications
Qualifications:
· Qualitative research methods expertise
· Strong background with analyzing qualitative data using coding and thematic content analysis
· Proficiency in manuscript writing
Pay: Competitive and commensurate with experience
