Job Responsibilities:
- The Clinical Assistant is responsible for history taking and preparation of patients from newborns to the elderly, for examination as well as assisting with the exam, documenting and/or procedure in the office as requested by the Provider
- Assists in patient education
- Maintains a safe and clean environment
- Maintains supplies in a cost effective manner
- Maintains patient safety and comfort, Infection Control, and Standard Precautions
- Performs duties consistent with the needs of the communities served, in a manner that reflects the physical, psychological and spiritual healing ministry of Christ
Education:
RN: Must have successfully completed an accredited registered nurse training program. Current registration with Indiana State Board of Nurses required. CPR Provider-C required.
LPN: Must have successfully completed an accredited licensed practical nurse training program with current registration in Indiana required. CPR Provider-C required.
CMA: Must have successfully completed at a minimum, a certified/registered medical assistant program, preferably, one year of experience in a physician office/outpatient clinic.
CCMA: Completion of a Medical Assisting certification program. One year of clinic experience required or completion of the CMA Resident program at Memorial Hospital.
Preceptor Training: Three months

- Memorial Health Family Medicine (Jasper)
- Memorial Wound Care (Huntingburg)
