NISS Statistical Analyst

We are looking for a motivated, energetic individual who has the ability to handle many projects at once. We need a detail-oriented individual who likes to work with numbers because we are number-crunchers. Math majors are strongly encouraged to apply.

This individual is responsible for analyzing company data submissions and assists in the preparation of summarized reports. This individual corresponds with company contacts when problems are identified and assists in resolving data questions. This individual performs balancing functions and audits company reports for reasonability.

Candidates must have an aptitude for detail and numbers and possess strong analytical skills. The ability to organize, demonstrate initiative and work in a team-like environment is essential. Knowledge and proficiency of computers is essential, specifically with Word, Outlook, Excel, and Access. A familiarity with manipulating data in SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and writing SQL queries is a plus. Experience in property/casualty insurance statistical reporting would be helpful.
