Graduate Nurse (RN) Oncology - Bone Marrow Transplant

Start Date: January 10th, 2022
1 Day & 1 Night Position Available

We are looking for New Graduate Nurses to join our Oncology team! 
Our New Graduate Nurse gets to participate in our nurse residency program designed to provide an enhance opportunity to receive didactic and clinical training in a specialized field like oncology. This program will allow new graduates to obtain experience through an intensive preceptorship program.
 
The program consist of didactic, on-line coursework & simulation lab. During the first part of the training time (first 5-11 weeks), the schedule will be Monday- Friday, with 40 hour work weeks at a centralized location. Most days will be in typical business hours (8 AM- 5 PM). The 2nd part is preceptorship on the unit and shift transitions to 12 hour shifts - 3 days a week with every other weekend. 
 
Candidates are fully paid with competitive pay in the market along with shift differentials and benefits.

Position Requirements (Minimum qualifications for the position)
 
  • Graduated or graduating from an accredited school of nursing
  • Obtain ATT letter to sit for licensure exam by start of the Residency Program
  • Or Louisiana temporary/permanent RN License or valid compact license from permanent state of residence.
