POSITION OPENINGS
(Two positions available)
 
TITLE: Autism Teacher Consultant
           
DESCRIPTION:  Coordinates and facilitates services for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) throughout the ISD. Works as a member of the Multi-disciplinary evaluation team to assist in the assessment of school ASD eligibility and educational needs. Consults, trains and coaches on evidence based instructional practices for students with ASD. Facilitates the development and implementation of functional behavior assessments and behavior intervention plans.  
           
 
QUALIFICATIONS:    Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with a K-12 endorsement to teach      students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and full state approval or ability to obtain approval as a teacher consultant for students with ASD.
                       
                                   
SALARY:  Schedule as negotiated by Master Contract
 
LENGTH:                                Full time, school year position
 
STARTING DATE:                   August 2022
