Technical Recruiter

At Ezoic, we build a platform to help online publishers (i.e. Internet web sites) improve their monetization and ensure a fantastic user experience. Our all-in-one digital publishing platform offers a comprehensive suite of tools that automate many of the technical aspects of running a successful web site so publishers can focus on connecting with their audience and writing great content.
We are looking for an internal Technical Recruiter to continue the rapid growth of our engineering team as we continue Ezoic's expansion. As part of the Talent Acquisition circle, you will collaborate with the leads of the other engineering circles to understand their goals and unique hiring needs. You will find intelligent, diverse candidates from multiple sources and manage the overall hiring and onboarding process. We do not work with external agencies, so you will be sourcing from other services like Indeed, Zip Recruiter, LinkedIn, etc. 
We will also look to you for improvements to any parts of our current process, in order to speed up our growth rate. We are on track to meet our goal of hiring 50 engineers in 2021 and plan to increase that goal in 2022. We have a high bar for our engineering talent, so we are looking for someone who is up for that challenge. The person in this position will have a direct impact on the success and growth of our company.

About the Role

  • Lead the hiring process. including sourcing candidates, reviewing resumes, interviewing candidates, making offers and overseeing the candidate experience.  
  • Track performance of different hiring sources, and investigate and try new potential sources of candidates
  • Streamline and improve our overall interview process to make it a good experience for candidates and to ensure we are hiring the right people. This includes ways to speed up the process to keep pace with our growth targets.
  • Consult with the engineering circles and leads to understand their needs and place hires on the right teams to ensure their success.

About You 

  • 3+ years experience in talent acquisition, being heavily involved in the entire process.
  • Success filling Engineering openings (e.g. Software Engineers, DevOps, Data Scientists), ideally for smaller, start-up companies.
  • Comfortable making decisions and leading a talent acquisition team and process with minimal oversight
  • Prior software engineering experience is preferred but not required.
