Family & Children's Place has a full-time opening for after school coordinator to work afternoons and evenings at Meyzeek Middle School.
Job Description
The ASC assists the School - Based Services site supervisor and other team members with the delivery of after school programming for youth. Provides daily direct service for youth in the after school program, including facilitating academic enrichment, social skill building and engaging scholars in physical activities. Additionally the ASC II assists the supervisor in enrollments, field trip planning, and serving as liaison between teachers, parents and youth. Participates in Family Nights weekly.
Requirements
Two years of college in Education, Psychology, Social Work, or closely related field and 2 years' experience working with youth.
Screening Requirements
Criminal Background Check, Child Abuse and Neglect check, pre-employment drug and TB screens.
