Engineering Intern
Nidec Motor Corporation in Princeton, IN is seeking applicants for Engineering Intern to assist with new projects related to the robotics/material handling automation industry.
Preferred candidate will be able to work at least 20 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
Assist with prototype builds, testing and design of prototype BLDC motors.
Failure mode analysis and teardown of BLDC motors.
Test and create related documentation
Manage a database for components, requesting quotes, issuing purchase orders, and tracking supplier lead times.
Requirements:
BSME/EE undergraduate study, JR or early SR level
Able to work minimum 32 hours / week (40 preferred)
Opportunity is to start Fall 2021, and stay through summer 2022
Experience with common shop hand tools
CAD experience is a plus
Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
Capable of writing reports based on testing completed
