Human Resources Generalist

The City of Appleton is accepting applications for a full-time Human Resources Generalist. This is a professional position responsible for performing numerous Human Resources, technical and administrative tasks in all areas of Human Resources administration. Work involves all aspects of the hiring process, workers compensation, FMLA and unemployment compensation administration, conducting employee training programs, serving on employee committees, staffing level reorganizations and creation and updating of job descriptions.  The incumbent works under the general supervision of the Deputy Director of Human Resources.
 
Qualifications
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, business, or related field, six to seven years Human Resources experience; or a combination of applicable experience and training.
