The Research and Development Chemist is responsible for assisting with the development and evaluation of all products in D-A’s vast product portfolio. Key focuses are on the formulation of innovative products that offer advancement to the product portfolio and the optimization of these formulations for manufacturing.

  • Develop new products to enhance our existing product line
  • Evaluate new raw materials to improve quality
  • Provide technical support to our sales force
  • Assist Quality Control in specific projects
  • Maintain safe, clean and orderly working environment by complying with safety and laboratory procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Other applicable duties as required
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry required  
  • Three years’ experience in product formulation and application preferred
  • Proven ability to partner with end users
  • Ability to work as a team or an individual
  • Willingness to adapt to changing needs of the Company
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with all the chemicals used in the plant and the handling procedures outlined in the Safety Data Sheets
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
