Academic Program Specialist

The Emporia State Office of Admissions for undergraduate students is currently seeking quality candidates to fill the position of Academic Program Specialist. This is a full-time, year-round appointment.

Responsibilities:
The Academic Program Specialist provides administrative support to leadership and staff of the Undergraduate Admissions Office. This administrative support includes, but is not limited to, scheduling appointments and meetings; maintaining the very complex budget in specific, detailed, updated categories; processing requests and payments related to payroll, purchasing, car reservations, reimbursements, catering, room reservations through Conference and Scheduling; taking minutes at staff meetings; working collaboratively with the entire Admissions team; and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, with four years of experience in an office or administrative position. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience. Successful candidates will possess proven customer service skills, strong attention to detail reflected through accuracy and precision, and the ability to work in a positive, fast paced college environment.
