Resource Collection Assistant

Are you interested in a critical role on the Library team providing service excellence and developing and maintaining library resources for all members of the Nicolet College community? The Resource Collection Assistant anticipates future trends to ensure that the Library’s resources will continue to serve the needs of tomorrow’s students in the rapidly changing academic world, and collaborates with others to improve or develop new resources to support student success. The Assistant works a 25 hour per week flexible schedule typically Monday through Friday, with occasional work on Sundays. The position is located at the Richard J. Brown Library on the Nicolet College Campus, reporting to the Manager of Library Services.
 
Qualified candidates possess a minimum of an Associate Degree or equivalent education and experience, and one year of related work experience.
 
The ideal candidate also has a Bachelor’s degree, two or more years of library or related work experience, and specialization, experience, or additional education or professional development in technical services, cataloging, collection development, resource management, or database/electronic resource management.
