Assistant Prosecuting Attorney

Job Classification: Assistant Prosecuting Attorney
Salary: Commensurate with experience.
Requirements: Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Michigan.
Duties: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, reviewing police reports; authorizing or declining criminal charges; conducting pre-trial matters in criminal cases; reviewing search warrants; and drafting briefs and motions.
Caseload may include juvenile delinquency cases, abuse and neglect matters, misdemeanors and felony cases. Applicant must be able to work independently and exercise sound judgement.
