Morton Solar Marketing Internship

Job Title: Marketing Internship

Position Specifics: This Internship is a part-time position at 20 hours per week, with compensation set at $17/h. The position will offer exposure and education relevant to any marketing career. Responsibilities and required core competencies listed below:

Responsibilities:
  • Updating “Completed Projects” map in Google Drive with name, address, and phone number for pictures and drone footage
  • Social media scheduling on Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram
  • Entering blogs into Wix website
  • Solar map quarterly updating (ZeeMaps and SIREN)
  • Order/design signage and marketing material
  • Filing award applications 
  • Limited Wix website upkeep 
  • Creating, designing and updating company documents
  • Designing and updating LED sign slides
  • Assisting with company newsletter

Required Skills:
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experienced in Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn social media platforms
  • Experience in graphic design and Adobe Suite is preferred but not required

Competencies:
  • ­Organization -­ ability to schedule and keep up with various marketing schedules
  • Coachable -­ open to feedback and criticism with a genuine desire to improve
  • ­Enthusiasm -­ passion for growing our company and for renewable energy/climate change
