Responsibilities in our Transportation Design Groups (Road, Bridge, Traffic)

  • Contribute to roadway designs, lay out alignments, and create typical sections, site assessment and engineering report development.
  • 3D modeling and work with Microstation/Geopak, AutoCad, Blubeam, Open Bridge, Merlin Dash, Quick Bridge,
  • Different projects would include, Roundabouts, Bridge Replacements and Rehabilitations, Urban Roads, Rural Roads and Large Interstate Improvements

Responsibilities in our Structural Design Groups (Structural, Investigative Forensics)

  • Assist Project Managers in structural designs
  • Assist Senior Staff in performing a wide range of forensic investigations related to damage and deterioration structures and physical condition assessment studies
  • Will utilize AutoCAD and/or Revit to produce digital drawings and models

Responsibilities in our Land Development and Infrastructure Groups (Civil Site, Utility Infrastructure)

  • Work closely with Project Managers and Team Leaders on exciting land development projects, industrial, residential, mixed-use, urban re-development and/or affordable housing projects.
  • You will learn drafting, plan production, design, field inspections, cost estimation and coordination.
  • You will have the opportunity to use AutoCAD and HydroCAD
  • Perform calculations, assist with permit applications, technical specification preparation and develop exhibits, design drawing and presentation materials

Responsibilities in our Construction Inspection and Land Survey Groups

  • Assist in the coordination between contractors, utility companies and homeowners
  • Perform material testing including HMA, concrete, aggregate and soils
  • Inspect Contractor daily work activities and document daily work activities
  • Utilize Microsoft Office, Appia, SiteManager and BlueBeam
  • Assist on projects like new road construction, bridge construction, paving and line installations for water or sanitary

Qualifications

  • Student of Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Engineering, Land Survey or Structural Engineering or other related programs
  • Reliable transportation to and from office location
  • Strong work ethic, willingness to learn and try new things
