This Sales Development role is part of our Digital Industries organization, a global technology leader in industrial automation and digitalization.

What is the Sales Development Program?

In the Sales Development Program (SDP), you will play an integral part in supporting the sales organization to promote and sell Siemens’ innovative products, solutions and services to customers in the industrial markets. This program prepares individuals for entry level positions in sales, with end customers, integrators and original equipment manufacturers (OEM) selling either direct or through distribution partners. The SDP program fine tunes an individual’s strengths in business, communications, information systems management, engineering and technology and professional selling. SDP participants receive hands on education from industry leading professionals through modern classroom training, joint customer development and field experience.  The Siemens SDP program prepares students with the tools for today’s business practices in Industrial Sales.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Understanding the rich history of Siemens and the Siemens values

• Learning about our business units

• Learning about the industrial markets and our channels to serve them

• Core selling skills training

• Learning key sales processes and tools

• Establishing internal and external business relationships

• Developing professional skills and capabilities

• Access to and network with Siemens decision makers and key leaders

This instructional and hands-on program, when combined with results-driven, highly-motivated top graduates, is a recipe for a successful sales career with a global market leader. Sales Development Program participants are full-time employees with full benefits. This program is designed to create a successful career path with Siemens.

Program start date is July 2024.

To apply for the Sales Development Program, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Majors: Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial/Systems Engineering, Industrial Distribution, Electrical Engineering or Similar 

• Graduation Date: Candidates must graduate by the program start date, but no more than one year prior

• Relocation and Travel: Candidates must be willing to relocate and travel as required by the program

• Work Authorization: Permanent work authorization in the U.S. is required

Benefits: 

The hourly pay range for this position is $27 - $33 per hour.  The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.  Additionally, interns for Siemens are eligible to contribute into our 401K program.
