Journalism & Media internships abroad (Europe, Asia, Australia, Latin America) via The Intern Group (TIG)

In an international internship program organized by The Intern Group, you can build your resume with an internship abroad, at any time of year.

Note that our program has a cost for housing and other services accompanying the internship placement, which are described below. The fee varies by destination and date; you can view the options and fee amounts on our website here. Fees are discounted for Pell Grant recipients and for many other students based on their school, honor society membership, or other factors - ask our team for details.

Available locations:

Bangkok (Thailand), Dublin (Ireland), Hong Kong (China), London (England), Madrid (Spain), Medellin (Colombia), Melbourne (Australia), Tokyo (Japan). We also have a program in New York which is open to both international and US students.

All internships can be conducted in English, regardless of country. No foreign language is required.

What you'll be doing:

We have placed students in internships and host companies involving many aspects of media and journalism, including social media & content marketing, trade and industry journals, lifestyle publications, digital media & advertising, blogging, and gathering/analyzing published content. Interns gain experience creating content, collaborating with editors, and meeting deadlines.
