Looking for a meaningful internship opportunity that will give you real-world experience and help you grow as a professional? Look no further than the Iridium Internship Program where you will be an integral part of the Iridium teams shaping the future of satellite communications! The Iridium Internship program is a 12-week program that runs from May 20, 2024 to August 9, 2024. As an Iridium Intern, you’ll begin making an impact on real projects from day one! During the program, come prepared to grow, develop, and learn alongside a team and the leaders of our company. Our Interns are offered a unique opportunity to provide valuable support to Iridium on projects and work assignments as well as the chance to participate in exciting activities that will allow you to connect with senior leadership and fellow interns. 

 

What We’re Looking For:

 

Iridium is looking for a bright HR Systems intern to assist the team in providing support and maintenance of Iridium’s human resources systems and related applications which include iCIMS, ADP, and other SaaS applications. You will get the opportunity to apply your technical skills by performing tasks such as developing proof of concepts for automated solutions and creating/updating integrations. You will also participate in project activities, such as requirements gathering, solution design, coordinate development effort, and user acceptance testing.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist with business process mapping and technical documentation
  • Participate in project activities, such as requirements gathering, documentation, and developing proof of concepts
  • Gather data for mapping integrations
  • Support/assist in the resolution of basic service requests related to various HR Systems

Skills You’ll Obtain:

  • Real-world experience in chosen field of interest and related topics through multiple hands-on projects
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Experience working with financial and other business applications
  • Understanding of business process flows and decisions
  • Working in and contributing to a team environment
  • Organization and time management skills, including multi-tasking and prioritization
  • Project initiation and execution

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • Some technical working experience; ability to navigate basic productivity software
  • Some exposure to Microsoft Office products
  • Basic understanding of accounting functions
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and professional demeanor
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Desire to learn and willingness to be trained

Things You Must Bring to the Table:

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
  • Must be currently enrolled in a bachelor's or graduate degree program at an accredited academic institution.
  • Must be eligible to work in person.
