Business Development Associate (Greenwich)

The Family Office Group is a private practice within Marcus Evans focused exclusively on sourcing unique investment opportunities for our clientele of single-family and multi-family offices around the world.

We are looking for a driven, enthusiastic, and passionate professional to join the Family Office Group as a Business Development Associate. In this role, you will be identifying and selling to key leaders in the Alternative Investments space and facilitating introductions to our Ultra-High-Net-Worth network. This role is perfect for those looking to advance their career in sales and business development.

This is an in-person role located in our Greenwich office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generating and prospecting new leads to create book of business.
  • Targeting General Partners and C-suite decision-makers of alternative investments firms including private equity, real estate, and hedge funds.
  • Contacting, qualifying, and engaging prospects through email, LinkedIn, and cold-calling.
  • Keeping an organized record of sales activity and pipeline.
  • Maintaining the proper KPIs to achieve both short-term goals and long-term career success.
  • Traveling to destination cities nationwide to work with new and existing clients.
  • Acting on behalf of the company and our clients in the delivery of our exceptional products and services.

Qualifications
  • 2-5 years of inside sales experience, preferably in a corporate setting.
  • The confidence to go head-to-head with the best and brightest industry leaders along with the humility to know that theres always more to learn.
  • Thorough understanding of sales principles.
  • Experience in mortgage sales, insurance sales, financial advising, political fundraising, or private wealth management is an advantage.
  • Knowledge and interest in alternative investments is a huge plus!
  • Experience in creating and launching strategic marketing email campaigns is a plus.
  • A proven track record of accomplishing ambitious goals, be it in your professional career or personal life. We want to hear all about your big wins!
  • A positive, can-do attitude.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive annual salary + quarterly commission guarantee + OTE based on monthly commission and repeat business. Following the probation period, minimum annual earnings of $54,000 + commissions rising to $60,000 + commissions on achieving performance milestones.
  • After 3-month onboarding period, new starters expect to make in their following year $100,000 with top performers making over $150,000 + escalating incomes for successful candidates moving to management.
