Summer Camp Health Aide - On-site

Nursing experience in an outdoor setting!

Camp Lake Hubert & Camp Lincoln are premier traditional summer camps. With over 100+ years of family-owned operation, there is a reason why the Camp Lincoln & Camp Lake Hubert traditions have been carried on for four-generations. Our camps are located in the Great Northwoods of Minnesota, 2 ½ hours north of Minneapolis/St. Paul. Catering to a diverse group of campers and staff from across the country, and further afield, we are committed to excellence in camping and providing our staff and campers with opportunities for personal growth.

Our 2024 Season will run from late May into mid-August.

Health Aides are expected to live on-site for the duration of their contract with access to the nearby towns of Nisswa and Brainerd/Baxter, MN.

Our Health Service Department at each camp provides all the necessary services for campers and staff in a typical resident camp experience. Each camp has a functional Health Center in the middle of the camp and is staffed with an RN and nursing students, providing a team approach:

  • Main duties include medication distribution, clinic hours, promotion of general health care and wellbeing within our community.
  • Health Center has multiple bedrooms, a full bathroom and shower facilities.
  • The Camps also have a resident camp physician, who makes morning clinic calls to Camp Lake Hubert & Camp Lincoln and is on call by cell phone for the rest of the day.

Our Nurses and Health Aides are a part of the camp community! Expect to take part in team-building, attend camper events, and experience the joy of kids at play!
