Position Overview:

As a Pharmaceutical Representative, Inside Sales  (PRIS), you will be educated and provided mentoring to sell ParaPRO’s "Standard of Care” pharmaceutical brands. A successful PRIS candidate will effectively execute a territory (or shared territory) marketing plan and is expected to firmly establish ParaPRO’s brands as the market leader within their territory assignment.

This PRIS position is designed to prepare pharmaceutical sales associates for ParaPRO field-based sales opportunities. As field-based Sales Representative opportunities become available, promotion and relocation to the field territory opportunity is expected.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

A PRIS is responsible for achieving assigned company sales goals and performing the following duties:

  • Make a minimum of 50 unique office calls per day, with an expectation of 6-8 calls per working hour
  • Represent ParaPRO professionally, delivering sales presentations to HCP’s per ParaPRO’s standard operating procedures and sales training
  • Implement a business plan to achieve maximum sales potential for assignment
  • Successfully complete rigorous sales training program
  • Build and maintain, as an individual or group, quality relations with assigned accounts
  • Participation in periodic product launch/sales training
  • Evaluate and modify performance to increase market share where applicable
  • Maintain updated & organized account files in assignment through contact management
  • Complete and maintain sales report activity as defined by policy
  • Comply with all legal and regulatory requirements governing the sale and promotion of FDA regulated pharmaceutical products
  • Perform other related duties assigned

Qualifications/Skills/Requirements:

  • College Degree (BS or higher preferred)
  • Clearance company security and background check
  • Must possess a personal credit card to utilize for reimbursable expenses.
  • ParaPRO is a drug-free environment, company does pre-employment and annual random drug testing
  • Must live in the greater Indianapolis area (Carmel, IN preferred)
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work
  • Ability to demonstrate a track record of success
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Entrepreneurial with a goal achievement orientation
  • Ability to effectively identify, analyze and solve problems
  • Strong computer and e-skills
  • Occasional overnight travel
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology a plus
