TSMC Arizona is looking for a Water Systems Construction Intern to join our 4-nanometer fab, located in sunny Phoenix, Arizona. TSMC Arizona’s New Fab Construction Department is responsible for engineering and construction spanning all disciplines including CSA (Civil Structural, Architectural), MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Process), and specialty systems (gas & chemical delivery systems, clean room systems, ultra-pure water systems, wastewater treatment, etc.).

 

Job Description:

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Working side-by-side with the TSMC construction teams, mechanical & water engineering teams, and construction crews to work on TSMC water systems including cutting edge ultra-pure water systems and specialty wastewater treatment systems (exotic waste streams).
  • Monitor and track key construction activities in the field with TSMC construction managers all electrical installation and troubleshooting work.
  • Work on forecasting, reporting, and work planning activities with TSMC project management.
  • Assist to troubleshoot commissioning problems, construction hold-ups, field issues, and help respond to RFIs from the construction crews in the field.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States and have:

  • Must be currently enrolled at an accredited university, in [one of] the following degree programs: Bachelors/Masters of Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or Environmental Engineering.
  • Must be able to work full-time (40 hours per week) on-site at our Phoenix location, from May 20th, 2024 – August 2nd, 2024.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (PPT, Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Must be able to walk around active and changing construction site for extended periods of time to monitor construction and commissioning activities in multiple places.
