Case Management Assistant (LSS-2024)-Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota, Refugee Services

Assist LSS staff in providing case management services for refugees, with the core focus of empowering them to achieve self-sufficiency.

Exact responsibilities will depend on the selected candidate's interests and skills but could include:
• Calling clients to do weekly check-ins.
• Providing assessments of client needs and problem-solving to meet those needs.
• Teaching small group classes about life in the U.S., budgeting, and job readiness.
• Filling out applications for government benefits such as food and cash assistance or energy assistance.
• Helping welcome newly arrived refugees by getting their new homes ready, buying groceries, and meeting them at the airport.
