Videography Intern

We are looking for an organized and creative videographer to work on our social media team to create a plan, film, and edit video content for tournament games. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and show a knowledge of time management and planning skills. They may handle everything from interviewing to editing film. With the authorization from a professor or your career center, you can receive college credit.

Videographer Responsibilities:

·        Capturing live action

·        Interviewing players and fans creating short video clips

·        Adding computer graphics and on-screen text

·        Collaborate with the social media team to create action videos

·        Film videos on-site at tournament locations

·        Edit footage in post-production

·        Deliver short videos to social media administrators

Videographer Requirements:

Proficiency with camera equipment

Proficiency with editing software

  • Adobe Creative Suite
  • Photo Shop
  • Windows Movie Maker

Excellent interpersonal skills

Excellent computer literacy

Creative and a good eye for catching action

Throughout the weekend this person will be capturing the excitement, emotion, and fun at our Seminole Sports event.  You have to be about getting THE shot.

Particulars:

  • The program starts in May and runs through the end of July
  • Over this period you will be expected to work at least 200 hours
  • Shooting highlights Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday & editing on Monday
  • You will gain insight into a youth sports organization’s culture, its value to young athletes and benefits to the community
  • This is a real work experience for you which will provide meaningful assistance to our Seminole Sports
  • We provide you a mentor that offers regular feedback to you
  • You will establish a network of other interns and professionals that can help you make well-informed decisions about your career and connect you with career opportunities
  • This experience will provide you with a portfolio of work that you can submit to your university for college credit

Pay periods are the 1st and 15th of each month. End of year bonuses will be paid based on merit.
