Promotions Intern

The Promotions intern will focus on the development, creating, and implementing entertainment events throughout the tournament season. This person will work closely with the intern team and engage them in these special events.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of Seminole Sports Brand message.
  • Enhance tournament “game day” experience and execution for all Seminole Sports events.
  • Provide promotional materials for web development as needed.
  • Identify appropriate third-party integration to enhance business practices for Seminole Sports
  • Contact and engage teams and companies that have Mascots.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Pursuing a BS/BA degree in sports management or related field
  • Must demonstrate high degree of leadership, time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong computer skills required.
  • Must be willing to work evenings, and weekends per game/event schedules.

Particulars:

  • The program starts in May and runs through the end of July.
  • Over this period, you will be expected to work at least 200 hours
  • Tournaments are on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
  • You will gain insight into a youth sports organization’s culture, its value to young athletes and benefits to the community.
  • This is a real work experience for you which will provide meaningful assistance to our Seminole Sports
  • We provide you a mentor that offers regular feedback to you.
  • You will establish a network of other interns and professionals that can help you make well-informed decisions about your career and connect you with career opportunities.
  • This experience will provide you with a portfolio of work that you can submit to your university for college credit.

Pay periods are the 1st and 15th of each month. End of year bonuses will be paid based on merit.
