Marketing Associate

Marketing Associate - Full Time Role

As a Marketing Associate in this full-time role, you will be actively participating in various events, including markets, shopping plazas, festivals, and more. Your primary responsibility will be engaging with guests to sell backpacks filled with school supplies, toiletries, and toys. These backpacks are then generously donated to a charity with over 50 years of experience supporting foster kids and combating child abuse. Your role extends beyond marketing, as you'll also advocate for the organization, explaining the destination of the backpack donations to interested guests.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a valid driver's license and own reliable transportation
  • High school diploma or GED required (must be 18+)
  • Comfortable engaging with diverse groups of people throughout the day
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve donation goals
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Attend various in-person events (indoors and outdoors) to sell supplies for donation
  • Strive to convert every conversation into a backpack, bike, or subscription sale
  • Explain the organization's mission and the destination of backpack donations to guests
  • Set up and take down fundraising setups at events
  • Self-motivated to meet individual and team goals
  • Participate in team meetings and mandatory trainings to discuss goals and provide feedback
  • Learn about fundraising campaign creation, execution, presenting charity partners' messages, and reporting results
