Private Client Services includes Closely Held, Private Business Services, and Personal Wealth Advisory services.  

 What you’ll be doing:  

As a PCS Assurance Staff I, you will be working with the Tax team to learn the preparation procedures of federal and state income tax returns for our corporate and individual clients and assisting in tax planning and provision completion/review. You will be performing detailed verification procedures necessary to perform examinations of our clients' financial statements. You will prepare the work papers for reviews, compilations and tax returns and ensure financial statements and tax returns are prepared in accordance with professional and firm standards. 

 We’re looking for someone who has:  

We are currently looking for entry-level professionals to join the Private Client Services (PCS) Assurance team in Fall 2024.    

Required Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting  
  • 150 credits / CPA exam eligibility strongly desired before beginning full-time employment  
  • Strong academic track record (Minimum GPA: 3.0)  
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future  

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • 0-2 years recent public accounting experience  
  • 150-Date/Final Graduation of December 2023 through September 2024  
  • Relevant work experience (i.e., internships, volunteer/paid work experiences, school jobs)  
  • Strong MS Excel and MS Word   
  • Strong time management and organizational skills  
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and with a team  
  • Great communication, leadership, and analytical skills

For NYC and California, the expected salary range for this position is between $60,000.00 and $78,000.00. The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
