About this role: As a Therapist located in the Wheeler Women’s shelter, you will work with Women 18+ struggling with mental illness in the Wheeler Women's Shelter, helping them process their lives and learn skills tp help improve their overall quality of life. Common modalities used include CBT, DBT, ACT and other evidence based practices. You will be responsible for completing documentation of sessions. Work hours can be flexible M-F, with no On Call, and you will be in charge of your own schedule. You will also be asked to attend leadership meetings with the wheeler Women’s shelter for updates on wheeler procedures.
 

The Location and hours: A&C is based in Central Indiana. For this position, we service the following county: Marion

Hours are M-F 8am-4pm with flexible scheduling available and some weekends needed.
 

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Provide direct care/therapeutic interventions to the women and Children at Wheeler Women’s Shelter.
  • Maintain a caseload of clients, and scheduling own appointments.
  • Present cases to Team, HSPP, and document all client interactions in the EHR System.
  • Interact and collaborate with Wheeler staff and leadership on a daily basis.

 

Requirements

 

  • Master's degree and license eligible in Indiana
  • LMHC, LCSW, LCAC or LMFT preferred but not required
  • Must hold a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and provide own, insured, transportation
  • Previous experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong organizational skills
