Overnight Camp Counselor

Overnight Camp Counselors will foster relationships with campers ranging in ages from 7 to 15 years old as they engage in the Sherman Laker experience. Overnight Camp Counselors will sleep in the cabins with campers along with leading activities each day during our 6 day, 5 night sessions. Counselors will promote and role model the development of confidence, independence and HCRR (Honesty, Caring, Respect and Responsibility).  

Overnight Camp Counselors change lives through the relationships that are built and the unique experience that camp provides.  By building positive relationships, creating an environment that allows campers to safely discovering their own strengths and interests, you will be a part of a truly transformational time for our campers. In addition to the camper experience, counselors will work on a team of peers that will collaborate and support each other. New friendships will be formed and lifelong memories made during a great summer job. 

Must live on-site during the program sessions. Certifications required prior to start date - CPR, First Aid. Lifeguard training can be provided. Must be one year post High School.
