Nurse Practitioner

Who We Are: 

Infectious Disease Solutions have extensive experience with infectious diseases in skilled nursing facilities settings. Our board-certified ID physicians, nurse practitioners, and pharmacists work closely with both patients and hospital providers/staff to formulate the best treatment plan for all patients. IDS providers use only up-to-date, evidence-based guidelines during treatment. We partner with your providers and advise on all skilled nursing facilities inpatients’ infectious disease concerns.

Position Summary: 

We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner to diagnose and treat health conditions, as well as promote good health practices. As an advanced practice registered nurse, you’ll be our go-to person for ensuring the best patient care possible. As both a health practitioner and an educator, our nurse practitioners support disease prevention practices, and Infection Control. We are looking for a nurse practitioner with a team spirit and a positive attitude. Patience, problem-solving skills, and interpersonal communication are important. If you’re dedicated to advancing your knowledge and clinical expertise through research and professional discourse, we’d like to meet you. We are an Infectious Disease group that rounds at various skilled facilities and hospitals in Illinois and Indiana. Responsibilities

  • Conducting physical examinations.
  • Interpreting lab tests.
  • Inform patients about their health conditions.
  • Propose treatment plans for chronic and acute infectious disease conditions.
  • Prescribe antibiotics and propose treatment plans.
  • Collaborating with a team of medical professionals.

Requirements

  • Onsite (preferred) Monday-Friday 8:00 am-4:30 pm
  • Master’s level and/or advanced doctorate degree
  • Prior experience in management level position
  • Experience with data analysis
  • Good critical thinking skills
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of billing and collection practices/techniques (preferred)
