Seasonal Worker III – Camp Counselor

Job Duties:

• Monitors campers, follow camp schedule, encourage active participation, lead group activities.
• Respond to incidents such as behavior problems or accidents.
• Document events and maintain records, discuss concerns with parents. 
• Report issues to Assistant Head Counselor and Head Counselor.
• Act as a constant encourager and role model for campers.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Successful applicants must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must attend training week plus work all 10 weeks that camp is open for the summer (40 hours a week).
• First aid/adult and child CPR certification is required prior to start of camp.
• Lifeguard certification desired.
• Must have completed High School or GED.
• Must submit to/pass pre-employment drug screen/background check.
