Brief Job Duties:
The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:

  1. Developing and administering school elementary curriculum
  2. Conducting ongoing assessments of student learning and modifying instructional methods to fit individual student needs, including students with special needs
  3. Encouraging parental involvement in students' education.

Full Job Description  

Certification/License:
Certification in Elem Education (020) from the Maine Department of Education
Criminal History Record Check (CHRC), which includes Fingerprints on file with the Maine Department of Education 

Education: 
Bachelors from an accredited college or university in education or related discipline applicable to teaching assignment.
Master's Degree in a related area preferred.

Experience: 
Successful prior teaching experience for the appropriate grade levels is preferred but not required.
