Prompt Engineering Intern

At TA39, we're pioneering the future of educational technology by integrating AI to enhance the teaching and learning experience. Our mission is to develop an optimal prompt architecture for our AI-driven teacher's assistant, leveraging the latest in language learning models (LLMs) to provide insightful feedback on student essays and writing assignments.

What You Will Learn and Do:
This internship offers a unique opportunity to dive deep into the world of AI applications, specifically focusing on prompt engineering for GPT-4 and Anthropic Claude. You will:
- Gain hands-on experience with prompt engineering best practices.
- Experiment with various prompt structures to achieve desired outcomes, enhancing the AI's ability to act as a teacher's assistant.
- Analyze test results using SQL queries and databases.
- Utilize Python for developing testing toolkits.
- Apply critical thinking to evaluate high school level writing from an educational perspective.

Who We Are Looking For:
1) Eagerness to learn about AI, LLMs, and their application.
2) Basic proficiency in SQL and Python. Familiarity is good enough, with ChatGPT's support.
3) Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
4) Ability to critically assess written English at a high school level.
5) Interest in education technology and a passion for making a difference in the learning experience.
6) High level of common sense. (Helps to hack #2, if you are not an expert ;-)
