Special Education Teacher

RTHS is seeking a Special Education Teacher to fill out the Special Education team.  RTHS offers multiple levels of special education services varying from functional life skills to co-taught classes.  RTHS is described as a small urban school in a rural setting.  RTHS has a very diverse student body that is celebrated as strength of the school.  The faculty and staff works within a collaborative culture.  RTHS is committed to recruiting, hiring and retaining a diverse staff.

Requirements:
Illinois teacher licensure with the appropriate endorsements for special education

Salary/Benefits:
Salary and benefits can be found in the current collective bargaining agreement at www.rths193.org.  Teachers who work for several years in the district may also be eligible for federal student loan forgiveness.  Professional development is highly encouraged and financially supported by the district.
