Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and creative Magazine Layout Graphic Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing visually appealing layouts for our digital magazine, ensuring a seamless and engaging reader experience. This position offers the opportunity to showcase your design skills and creativity while contributing to a meaningful and impactful publication.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the editorial team to conceptualize and execute layout designs for each issue of the magazine.
• Design visually compelling cover artwork and feature layouts that capture the essence of each issue's theme.
• Create custom illustrations, graphics, and visual elements to enhance editorial content and storytelling.
• Ensure consistency in design elements, typography, and brand guidelines throughout the magazine.
• Optimize layouts for digital viewing across various devices and platforms, including desktop, tablet, and mobile.
• Incorporate feedback from editors and stakeholders to refine designs and meet project objectives and deadlines.
• Stay updated on design trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve design quality and innovation.
• Collaborate with external contributors, photographers, and illustrators as needed to source visual content for the magazine.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and other design software.
• Strong portfolio showcasing previous work in magazine layout design and graphic design.
• Excellent understanding of typography, color theory, and layout composition principles.
• Ability to translate editorial concepts and themes into visually compelling designs.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
• Passion for storytelling and creativity, with a commitment to delivering high-quality design solutions.
