Intern - Field Application Engineer

Are you a student Engineer looking to expand your knowlegde on the customer-focused Field Application side of sales? then this is the role you! Under the guidance of senior FAE's you will learn the basics of Infineon's applications and use Visio to create customer blocks diagrams. This position requires candidates to be local to the Livonia, MI office location.

In your new role you will:

  • Generate heat map of major applications by our Automotive Customer base.
  • Help the senior FAE’s generate Customer Block Diagrams using Visio/PowerPoint
  • Help create organized iShares/confluence pages for the FAE’s to collaborate.
  • Learn the basics of each major Infineon Application by sitting with the relevant technical experts.
  • Create a presentation that highlights the value proposition and benefits of a customer working with Infineon Technologies

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • You are currently taking an Engineering or technical degree/ or have a background in one.
  • Ability to work full time during the summer and part time during the school semester for a length of 1 year
  • Are familiar with MS PowerPoint/Visio and Excel
  • Are interested in learning the basics of semiconductors and automotive engineering.
  • Strong proactive mindset
  • Effective communication and Analytic skills
