MANDATORY TESTING INFORMATION:
April 24, 2024 - 9:00 AM - Physical Agility Test - Pass / Fail
OR
April 27, 2024 - 9:00 AM Physical Agility Test - Pass / Fail
Written Test immediately following - if applicant passes Physical Agility
Top 15 will be invited for an Oral Exam - date to be determined
Minimum Qualifications:
Age – Applicants must be 21 years of age on date of test.
Applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED.
A valid driver's license is required.
Firearm Owners Identification Card (FOID) – Applicants must possess or be eligible to obtain a valid FOID card from the State of Illinois. This requirement does not apply to candidates maintaining their permanent residence out of state.
No convictions for felony offenses or for crimes involving moral turpitude.
