The Sonepar USA Communications Intern will work collaboratively and independently as they assist with the creation, optimization, and management of content across owned platforms (social media and websites). The Communications Intern will work closely with the Communications team for the production and scheduling of social media content. The Intern will also assist in writing articles for the corporate newsletter and conduct communication audit of Sonepar brand platforms. They will be responsible for tracking internal content performance metrics along with scanning social media platforms for recommendations. This is a 10-week summer internship with a potential start day in May.

 

What you will bring to this opportunity:

  • Familiar with: Canva or similar graphic design software
  • Experience with Instagram and LinkedIn
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to brainstorm new content ideas and approaches
  • Dedicated to continuous improvement of Sonepar brand platforms
  • Minimum Education: Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications – current Sophomore or Junior (Must be a rising Junior or Senior at time of internship program) GPA: 3.2 or higher
